Sundown Studio & Gallery

George Plant’s Sundown Studio & Gallery is located near the beach at Huron and Morpeth Streets in beautiful Southampton, Ontario. The Studio & Gallery entrance is off Morpeth Street.

Framed and unframed color and b&w fine art prints of George’s photographs are for sale in his Gallery, which shares space with the Studio. Most of the prints are of local scenes which evoke memories of and capture the beauty of lakeside life.

His Portrait Studio is equipped with professional lighting equipment and a variety of seamless paper backgrounds, suitable for color or b&w portraits of individuals, small groups or pets.  He also does portraits on location –--at client's homes or cottages, the beach, or a favorite location chosen by his clients. He selects the type and extent of lighting equipment needed for a particular photo shoot, including the use of his large studio lighting units on site.

All of George’s photos are made with professional digital SLR cameras. With his extensive training and experience using the latest Adobe Photoshop software, he manages and executes the entire digital workflow process himself, including printing his images with Epson archival pigment ink-jet inks on Epson professional quality papers.

In his studio setting George also does photos of jewelry, arts and crafts, food and other commercial products.

To make an appointment for a portrait or to confirm the Gallery’s hours throughout the year, please contact George directly.
